Konnectiv – Accessibility Statement

Konnectiv Limited is committed to making konnectivgroup.com and our contractor and client portals accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability, technology, or environment.

We aim to comply with recognised accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA where reasonably possible.

Accessibility is an ongoing priority, and we continually review and improve the experience for all users.

1. Our Commitment

We want our website and portals to be:

  • Easy to navigate

  • Clear and consistent

  • Usable with assistive technologies

  • Available on a wide range of devices and browsers

  • Perceivable and understandable for people with differing abilities

We work to ensure that content, structure, and functionality support users with visual, auditory, cognitive, and physical impairments.

2. Measures We Take

To support accessibility, Konnectiv:

  1. Designs pages with logical structure, headings, and reading order

  2. Ensures appropriate colour contrast and readable typography

  3. Provides text alternatives for non-text content where possible

  4. Enables keyboard navigation on key site areas

  5. Uses accessible form labels and field instructions

  6. Ensures dynamic content and portal features aim to be screen-reader compatible

  7. Tests new components to improve compatibility with assistive technologies

  8. Works with trusted developers and partners to enhance accessibility over time

3. Where Accessibility May Vary

Certain areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards, including:

  • Third-party integrations (such as analytics tools, identity verification systems, embedded media, or community/message plugins)

  • Complex document uploads or compliance workflows within the portals

  • Automatically generated content or content contributed by users

  • Features that rely on third-party software or interfaces beyond Konnectiv’s control

We work to minimise these limitations and seek improvements where possible.

4. Compatibility

Our website and portals are designed to work with:

  • Modern browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari)

  • Current versions of mobile operating systems

  • Common assistive technologies such as screen readers, speech recognition tools, and screen magnifiers

Older browsers or unsupported devices may not offer the intended experience.

5. Ongoing Improvements

Accessibility is not a one-time project. Konnectiv is continually:

  • Reviewing user feedback

  • Monitoring new accessibility standards and legislation

  • Updating layouts, form structures, and component behaviours

  • Working with technical teams to improve compatibility and usability

All new features aim to be designed with accessibility in mind from the outset.

6. Enforcement Procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the UK supervisory body:

Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS)

For EU users, you may contact your national accessibility or equality body where applicable.

7. Accessibility Statement Updates

We review and update this statement periodically to reflect improvements and changes to the website, portals, or legal requirements. The date at the top of this statement indicates when it was last updated.

8. Feedback and Contact Us

We welcome feedback from any user who experience accessibility issues, barriers, or difficulties using our webiste or portals.
